Frequently asked questions

Practical answers for families.

Find answers about getting started, program fit, memberships, the Teamup transition, and what to expect when your player arrives.

Getting started

How to choose the right first step for your family.

Where should a new family start?
If you are not ready to choose a program yet, start with an upcoming event, camp, or clinic. These lower-commitment experiences help families see the coaching environment, community, and player development philosophy in action.
Is Real Futbol only for experienced players?
No. Real Futbol supports players at different ages and stages. Some players begin through Foundations or community experiences, while motivated players may move into more demanding program pathways when the fit is right.
How do events and camps fit into player development?
Events and camps are not separate from the Real Futbol philosophy. They are accessible ways for players to train, play, receive coaching moments, and experience the same intentional development environment before choosing a longer pathway.

Programs and development

How training pathways connect to the development philosophy.

What is Foundations?
Foundations introduces younger and newer players to movement, confidence, ball skills, teamwork, and simple game understanding through fun, age-appropriate activities.
What is High Performance?
High Performance is a more demanding training environment for motivated players who are ready for greater structure, intensity, accountability, and detail.
How are players grouped?
Players are grouped by age, ability, confidence, and development needs. Coaches observe players over time and adjust the environment so each player is challenged and supported appropriately.
What is the player-to-coach ratio?
Sessions are kept small and focused. Ratios may vary by program and activity, but the goal is always meaningful coaching, clear feedback, and a strong connection between coach and player.

Memberships, booking, and Teamup

How to register, purchase, and move from the previous platform.

Do you offer memberships or single sessions?
Both options may be available depending on the program. Memberships support a consistent development rhythm, while single-session options can help families try a program or fit training around a busy schedule.
What should existing Teamup users do?
Teamup will continue running in parallel during the transition. Pay-per-session customers can create a new Real Futbol account. Monthly subscription customers should start their new Real Futbol subscription when they are finished with their Teamup monthly cycle. Existing 8-pack customers should use their remaining Teamup credits before purchasing their next pack through Real Futbol.
When does a new monthly subscription begin?
A new Real Futbol monthly subscription begins at the time of purchase. Monthly subscription customers moving from Teamup should time their purchase for when they are finished with their current Teamup monthly cycle.
Can existing members still use Teamup booking?
Yes. The legacy Teamup booking page remains available for existing members while the transition is in progress.

Locations and session details

What to expect when you arrive.

Can parents watch sessions?
Yes. Parents can watch from the viewing lounge or designated areas where available. Real Futbol wants families to feel connected to the development environment.
What should players bring?
Players should bring appropriate footwear for the surface, shin guards when required, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. Specific event, camp, or program details may include additional guidance.
Do you run programs outside the facility?
Yes. The Real Futbol Kitchener facility is the home base, but camps, events, and programs may also run in approved outdoor fields, partner venues, and surrounding regional locations when that better supports the players and season.
Can the facility be rented?
Facility rental may be available for private training, team sessions, parties, or special events depending on schedule, space, and operational fit.
