Technical Coach Residency

Coaches will learn how technical skills are taught and progressed from unopposed practice into opposed and game-based environments. Designed for parent coaches, volunteer coaches, and young coaches transitioning into coaching, this residency emphasizes practical learning through discussion, observation, and on-field experience.
The Real Futbol Technical Coach Residency is a 6-week coach education program designed for coaches who want to improve how they develop players at the technical level.
This program focuses on how technical skills are learned, taught, and progressed from isolated execution into realistic game environments. Coaches will explore key technical qualities such as comfort on the ball, 1v1 execution, ball protection, and ball striking through a clear learning progression: unopposed → opposed → game.
Designed for parent coaches, volunteer coaches, and young coaches transitioning into the game, the residency emphasizes practical learning through discussion, on-field demonstrations, observation, and guided coaching experience.
This program complements existing coaching pathways and focuses on an area often underemphasized in traditional education: individual technical player development.
